Our body is a product of our genes, but also a product of our culture. Cultures worldwide modify, calibrate and reshape their face or body in one form or another. Either to conform to ideals of beauty, to mark membership of a group or social status or to convey information about personal likes, qualities or accomplishments. To what extent do rigid and unrealistic ideals of beauty motivate us to change and calibrate our body?
