Extremophile

I experienced auditory synesthesia while reading a passage from "The Living Cosmos: Our Search for Life in the Universe" by astronomer and author Chris Impey. I spent the next 8 hours diligently translating it to layers of sound and created a piece consisting of three movements, synced to dream states of extremophile bacteria as described in the text (our best hope for finding extraterrestrial life due to extreme conditions on other planets).
