Challenge: make art from anything I could see in front of me during Covid lockdown. Subject: dead flowers in a pink fluted glass vase. Medium: multiple image layered photography combining different views of the same scene. This project lifted me out of the Covid doldrums and reminded me of the joy that comes from creation.

Country Fence

A deeper dive into abstract imagery using multiple layers of photographs taken in the same location. I rarely do black and white photography, or anything that comes close to that, but I liked how removing the color removed the inclination to focus on the objects instead of on the overall impression made by the forms and shapes.
