Ashes

Ashes is written by Buckman’s 10yr old about the experience of offering her Grandma’s ashes to the Himalayan Ganges. With original music by Dave Guy & Homer Steinweiss, the tender honesty of this young girls account is sweetened further by the audio performed live. Ashes is layered with footage: a sculpture of a glove balancing on another representing what it is to lose something you love- unable to hold onto it whilst also allowing it to slip away. 2/6 of Loss Tapes, Voice NFT Residency series.
