Idali (Angel of Entanglement)

Idali fosters the entanglement of all living and non-living things towards diversity. Each Angel represents an ecological concept that permeates through out and defines our world. Inspired by the variety and the cryptic descriptions of angels from the ancient world (such as Kalkydra or the Carrier Of The Sun’s Heat, Laylah angel of Night and Conception and Azariel known as Waters Of Earth among many others) this collection aims to generate renderings of contemporary ecological concepts in the form of abstract synthetic beings, made of light and digital genomes. The series is a collaboration between three artists.
