"Glistening 2064" is a single edition artwork by KxMx Lane, depicting a dream simulation The Dim Mak Cartel uses to control people in Dimension Kx2579. Once The DMC made its way into Dimension Kx2579 they brought scientist to study all aspects of the world, which slowly began to find resources extractable from Dimension Kx2579. To keep these resources coming took a lot of work and abilities people from Earth did not possess. Therefore, The DMC created a new drug called V.E.R. also known as "Recliner" to control and enslave Dimension Kx2579's population to mine and process rare resources. V.E.R. bypasses the Visual Cortex sending intense Virtual Endorphin Reality Simulation signals directly to the brain. The intensity & duration of these signals create an out-of-body experience that traps the conscious in a false reality. In this state the users body releases a tsunami of endorphins causing indescribable pleasures that create user preference of false reality over reality.
