She listened one last time with feigned interest. She knew none of that story held any truth. Earlier in the day, she had received the private investigator's graphic report. He fell silent and looked at her. She hadn't said a word since he'd arrived. Her gaze penetrated every dark corner of his soul. She knew.  -"You should leave!" Margot said in a cool voice. -"Leave? And go where? I live here." -"You haven't lived here for a long time."  -"And whose fault is that?" He yelled. -Here we go, she thought. The blame game was on, again, and Margot had no intention of playing anymore.

Moonbird

Every spring moonbirds fly from Tierra del Fuego at the farther end of Argentina to their breeding grounds on the Arctic top of Canada's Hudson Bay. Then, every fall, these little birds fly all the way back south.  It's a 20,000 mile roundtrip journey.
