This image is the result of a month long watercolour and mixed media experimental process. It involved painting a watercolour sunset, and then blending it with a selection of photos I took of clouds using Adobe Photoshop.

Surreal flower girl (Surrealism self care/ mental health photography)

I made this image to focus on self-care & mental health. For me, the warmth of the sun and the sound of the sea are healing when life isn't great. The flower head of the woman represents blooming when sea and sun bathing. The ocean represents consciousness.

A sea of masks (covid edition)

I created this during the second state lockdown in Queensland, Australia. I spent days, like many did, locked in the house, wondering if we would ever live a 'normal' life again. For some reason, I kept my used masks in a bag. After weeks, I felt like I was drowning in this new version of the world, and from that this photo was born. 

Will it age well? Probably. Or, at least it will give you a way of explaining the pandemic to your grandkids.
