Inspired by my dream trip to Japan, this work gives a nod to some historic landmarks and the famous artwork of Katsushika Hokusai. Using their infamous sakura blossoms and Mount Fuji itself, this work incorporates clip art, hand drawn elements and has been processed through both procreate and photoshop. Laid out in a postcard styling. 


Breathe Easy (Social Anxiety)

Everyone always says to be the social butterfly, but for those of us with poor mental heath, it feels more like social anxiety. This piece depicts how easy I wish it was to take a breath. Everything light, floating, airy and free. I have suffered with panic disorder and diagnosed PTSD ever since I was a teenager. I hope to bring awareness to mental health, and break the barriers surrounding its taboo circle. #MentalHealthCheck

Jungle Jam 

Come jam out with the best animals in the rainforest. This collage took more than 8 hours to create, using clip art, hand drawn elements and foliage. Made using illustrator, photoshop and procreate!

Sea Friends 

Inspired by my love of the ocean and for the sea turtles (who are sadly endangered). 10% of this sale will go towards an ocean charity that protects our marine life. 

Hanging Out 

This work was inspired by both a trip to the zoo and the movie "Zootopia". Sloths have always been an interesting animal to me and I wanted to do something earthy. You may notice I took a different approach, placing household fruits and forest mushrooms rather than a jungle environment. I've always wondered what a sloth would be like as a pet (of course I'd never have one, they belong in the wild), so placing him in a more homey surrounding made this a happier piece for me individually. 

Utilizing multiple collage techniques, clip art, hand drawn elements, leaf/flower presses and processing in both procreate and photoshop - this piece took over 6 hours. 

Make A Wish

Inspired by the love felt between mother and child. This piece incorporates clip art, hand drawn elements, and paint. 

Let Me Be Your Wings

Created with multi-layering process of photographs, clip art, pressed flowers and my own hand drawn work. Taking a total of 10+ hours to create, it is inspired by the song "Let Me Be Your Wings" from the 1994 classic "Thumbelina". My goal is to evoke feeling when they look at my work. Whether it brings back a memory, makes you smile, or inspires you to create your own work of art.
