New Tower of Babel at Night

Two clearly separate societies live in the gigantic city of Metropolis. An upper class lives in absolute luxury. In the "Social Club of Sons", the youth of the elite enjoy paradisiacal conditions in their towers and "Eternal Gardens", living for sporting events and intoxicating pleasure, while the working class, toiling on huge machines for the gain of the rich, lives just as deep below the city dwells like the others about it. In between, but underground, are the machines essential to both classes. The sole ruler of Metropolis oversees and governs his city from the "New Tower of Babel".
