I'm not okay with drowning.

This painting visualizes depression. Being the guarded person I have been, being conditioned to feign stoicism even in the hardest times. Our world does not permit us to fall apart, it will not wait while we put ourselves back together. In this piece I am drowning, but I refuse to settle there.
