This series explores the duality of my Americanness represented by a hoodie as a cultural staple in fashion. Hoodies are also stigmatized as the outfit of choice for criminality and lazy young people. These pieces express the true hidden inner-self. Babaylan is a common term for shamans in the Philippines.
