I first painted this from a photograph of a speech on Capitol Hill with oils. I then animated the painting to reveal videos I captured of resources navigating across the world. I often think about how white spaces are designed to distract us from the harm inflicted on the land and people.

This piece combines footage of lush, beautiful landscapes where my family is from and where over-extraction continues to destroy natural ecosystems.

This piece is a collage of images I captured traveling through California, a state of agricultural abundance. On a hot day in June, I noticed a sign that read "Save Water" next to a "COVID-19 testing" sign and a "Support our Troops" sign. Water is our life force. Why do so many people have to live without clean water?
