THE NOTHING IN BETWEEN: III. I'M LEFT HERE IN MY AURA OF LIGHT

THE NOTHING IN BETWEEN is a three-part experiential sonic collection based on the idea of the imperceivable space where darkness meets light. When we refer to objects, we’re also implying “the lack of” something else. For example, light is the absence or lack of darkness; And darkness is the absence of light. Therefore, what is the absence of both light and darkness? The point of this question is to allude at something beyond our empirical knowledge. Practitioners of Zen Buddhism call this the “awakening”. Part III of this collection is the final panel of this digital triptych and stands in contrast to Part I. Part III depicts absolute light and truth (not necessarily in a religious sense), and invites the listener to get lost in this wash of sound.
