Dusk

I'm an environmental artist. I draw massive pictures on beaches with a garden rake. Sand art is temporary, the tide returns to reclaim the sand. The sand art in this image was created on Ladies Cove on The Copper Coast in Ireland on the 6th of August, 2022. The design itself is a free flow response to the conditions on the day. The spirals in the work give a somewhat Celtic feel but it's the poignancy of the temporary art-form that resonates most with people.
