Catus

‘Catus’ is the seventh out of eight audiovisual creations from the collection ‘Diasporic Daymares’. Developed for the 2nd season of the Voice NFT Residency. Original soundtrack by Zouhair El Helou. In collaboration with Animals Lebanon (animal protection nonprofit organization) who helped countless animals affected by the devastating explosion that decimated Beirut in August 2020. Among the animals they have saved is our cat Mac, who has been through traumatic events and for many months would make stressed sounds whilst sleeping and would suddenly wake up displaying signs of distress, as he was having a nightmare. ⅓ of the proceeds are being donated to the nonprofit organization Animals Lebanon. ⅓ of the proceeds are being donated to our feline family member, as a fundraising for health and wellness. The unlockable content allows the owners of this NFT to access the utilities that include royalty-free music, and for demonstrating transparently the impact of the proceeds.
