The Search (I)

Created between December 2021 and January 2022, this minimalist work speaks on the innate longing for something deep and profound - the search for ‘what’? for meaning? for God? We can only ‘search’ when we realize there is something gravely lacking and until we find that ‘thing’, we would spend the entirety of our lives never coming to a place of true satisfaction; constantly chasing but never filled. This is beyond anything material or tangible as the things which are 'seen' are disappointingly transient but the things 'unseen' are more concrete and eternal.
