Dolly Gets Her Hands Dirty

The collection "Handle with Care: Less is More" aims to recenter the historical and present-day contributions of everyday Black and indigenous people in sustainability and environmentalism. Dolly disrupts the current environmental justice landscape by inspiring people to exchange knowledge, implement skills and pool our resources to build sustainable communities. Theme: Clean Planet With critical messages regarding excessive consumption and environmental pollution, I seek out how my work exists within the greater context of the art world. The practice of collage gives recycled materials and images new life, while also making choices today that will impact the planet tomorrow. Here, Dolly gets her hands dirty while contributing to the ENY community garden.
