The First Mate's Design

This piece is centered around the idea of transience, the passage of time, and the inevitable rise and fall of empires. I wanted to maintain the beauty of tactile art mediums as much as possible -The grain of the canvas is fully visible, and the animations and digital edits blend smoothly into the physical aspects of the work. Part of my collection for the Voice x NYAA residency program.
