NYAA x Voice Residency: The collection is based on a thematic group of work that has been in progress since 2014. The imagery uses food and advertising icons to explore the fragility of society, how we get our food and the role of advertising icons in culture. The work created during the residency builds upon the tension and violence in the original drawings and paintings by enhancing the concepts with digital tools.
