Whenever I spoke with my roommate about his group of friends I would always see in our apartment, he always used to address them as 'The Highschool,' "its the most accurate way of describing them. Each class is like a different sub friend group". The Highschool is a collaborative, ongoing photo series exploring intimacy and sexual expression among a friend's group of young gay men in Brooklyn. Using still image portraiture in the collaborator's personal and safe space, I could explore my individual intimacy and self-expression.
