New Tomorrow #2

About the piece

Derived from the philosophy of impermanence, there is a meditative connection to observing the passing of time. Being aware of the beauty that lies in the brief transition between coming and going can inform us about our own preoccupations. At a physical and global level, we are in a constant state of inevitable flux that can make it difficult to look and do things mindfully, at a slower pace. I use my camera to observe and record the passing of life, the everchanging beauty associated with youth, the slow demise of our inhibitions, a domesticated house left behind to rot and nature unfolding its hidden wonders.
