PhotoVogue Resident: Haneem Christian is a Visual Poet born and raised in Cape Town, SA. Christian is a graduate of Gender Studies and Environmental and Geographical Sciences from UCT. After graduating, Christian forged their way as a formidable Creative Director, with a particular focus on representation within the Black and Brown LGBTQIA community. Christian has exhibited in notable exhibitions such as Johanesburg Art Fair, International Cape Town Art Fair, 1-54 New York and Unseen photo Fair, Amsterdam. In February 2022, Christian was announced as the winner of the Pride Photo Award 2022 and is currently in residency with Magnum Photos.
