I am a first generation Laotian-American born in Arlington, VA and the first thing I can remember drawing is a G.I. Joe character (not Snake Eyes, if you can believe it…!) I moved to Richmond to attend Virginia Commonwealth University in 1994 and have been here pretty much ever since. I make comics, paintings, action figures, dolls, music, some animation, t-shirts, tote bags, stickers, fliers, album art, tattoo designs, screen prints, letterpress, and big messes. I had the awesome opportunity to be an artist in residence at the Visual Arts Center here in sunny RVA last year which was inspiring in so many ways. I currently teach a screen printing class there as well as help out and sell my art at Toy Lair. Shout out to my wife and kids!
