PhotoVogue Resident 2023 Raul Guillermo is a photographer born in Lima, Peru. Currently based in Paris, France. Raul uses photography as an artistic medium to tell stories. His work lies between documentary and fashion photography. Both poetic and spontaneous, the photographs he makes not purely possess an aesthetic value but are also revealing of worlds and voices yet unknown. After many years spent far from Peru, Raul is currently interested in his origins and is rediscovering his country from another angle. One of the subjects he is currently working on is the ambivalence of masculinity and its fragility.
