Intimate Abstractions 

The internal genital organs of the woman form a kind of path that consists of the following structures: the vagina, the uterus, the uterine tubes and the ovaries. For both women and men, the female body can become a complete mystery, an infinite exploration and even a remote and unreachable place. Understanding our own body, observing it and being able to identify it is not only somewhat taboo, but also a difficult task. Many times we end up imagining our own shapes and creating an abstract imaginary of what our body is really like and it is precisely those shapes that I represent in this series of digital work and painting.
