Some people tell stories with words. I tell stories with pictures. Im Sandy Searcy, a 9-to-5 packaging artist and 24-7 abstract, portrait artist and photographer. When life took a heartbreaking turn, I found myself on an unfamiliar path. I kept looking back. I dragged my feet, unready to move forward. I stumbled more than once. Then, in 2017, I let creativity become my compass. I moved from the burbs to the city. I began to rediscover my passion and purpose in the OTR, an urban district in Cincinnati that itself is undergoing a transformation.
